That's what happens when you dont have to work and drop out of school you get bored and don't care cause its not yours...I think its stupid just like the Vietnam vet said " I heard he was a good kid..I believe that but why was he running from the police???? The National Guard presence downtown is huge. They are armed to the teeth and EVERYWHERE.

I would not call the national guard presence huge. If you told me there was an Infantry brigade (3000-5000 Soldiers) from one of the top tier Divisions like the 82nd Airborne, 10th Mountain, or 101st Airborne, then I'd have more faith in the situation being under control.

I highly doubt they are armed to the teeth. Its very likely most or all of them are completely unarmed and are just bodies in uniforms. If they have weapons it is unlikely they have ammunition and if they have ammunition it is a very limited quantity, and finally if they have that limited quantity of ammo, they are most definitely not allowed to have it loaded in their weapons...

There are hard units and there are soft units. Big difference between the two. The national guard definitely has some studs but they are not the majority...

I haven't been Downtown at all- and have no plans to do so!

My neighbor told me, along with some co-workers that live in the city, that they are indeed armed with guns. I don't have any reason to doubt them, but again I haven't been down there to see it personally.
