Two of the same kind. Optima Yellow(if you plan on deep-cycling them), Odyssey($$$), many say the Exide and other common brand AGMs are fine.
Sears Die Hard Platinum was the choice until recently, they used to be rebadged Odysseys but are now apparently changing to another mfg. They might still be fine.
I have an Odyssey 34R[r=reversed terminals]/PC1500 as the house batt, and the same size Die Hard Platinum as the guest batt. I'd make the guest(aux) batt larger(like Group 31, or, better: two group 31s) if I could do it over. My Engel 45 fridge will run down a group 34 in three(maybe 3.5) days in hot ambient temps, but run longer in winter.
I'd like to able to go 6 days in summer.

X2 Power (Northstar) 585 CCA Dual Cycle. It is a mean mother. Heavy too. Northstar makes a better battery than Optima used too. New Optima's are absolute junk.

My first Optimas were spectacular, 7 years of service, never a dead one. The last 4 sets were useless after a year or two. I happily don't own any optimas now. I have Interstates in my RV, which I don't think are great, but the rebadged Costco Interstate in my 4runner is chugging along famously 3 yrs in.

Thank you guys for all your input. I have read lots in the last few days and have found the same issues with the optima batteries. 10 years ago they were great. But the ones made today don't seem to last like they used to. I belong to a Toyota Facebook page. And the members there are recommending North Star batteries. I'm pretty happy with what I have been reading on their website for their cold cranking amps and reserve capacity etc.
I'm hoping that I will be able to squeeze two of them into my stock battery location. These AGM batteries are a investment, So I don't want to have to do this every three years.
