Battery Relocation

I want to put my Battery behind the rear seat for a couple reasons. Mostly to make room in the engine bay but also because the hold down isn't doing its job all that well these days .

I also noticed my positive cables from the alternator rub pretty good. coming up the side of the alternator.

Any tips? Ill probably run a battery switch and two batteries if I do this as well.

It'll work, just a long 4gage wire run. Batts seem to last longer away from all the engine compartment bay, if my gf's bmw is any indication. She bought it used 10 yrs ago with an Excide batt, still going while i've gone thru 3 batts since! Luck. :cowboy:
