So i got another guy pulling up next to me last week and advised me that my rear passenger tire was wobbly. That's the second since i bought it back in march @ 52K miles. I've only been on soft muddy trails not more than 4 times and not exceeding 40mph or hit any hard surfaces (rocks, etc.). I'm not sure if I bent it or was it already bent. can it be bent? well, according to Allan's Tire when i took it in, it's not my rim, it's my axle, rear right, he says and i have on paper. $300 to fix it w/ used one. Dealership won't fix it cuz being bent is being my fault---not covered by Platnium Warranty. I hate that dealership w/ a passion, the sales lady, service people, they all suck! but i had to have this truck, hard to find this color w/ this trim.
Just to blab on more, i don't think the lady is even qualified to tell me anything about the t4r. says the ECT is for "When roads are slippery". Fog lights...well, there were foglights, but no switch, i had to figure it out myself that i needed to get the other switch that had that foglight function twist on it...$70, dealership wouldn't pay for it. but back to the matter at hand... I don't feel this wobble at all, even at high speeds. i take it to Allan's Tire now to do all my regular maintenance work (tossed the 3 free lube certs from dealership in the trash), and they do this whatever points checkup along w/ the oil change and tread wear is normal on all tires. so, is this something i can do without? or should i have it changed?
