Best budget lift kit for 95% road usage??

I'm in the market for an 06-09 runner and I want to lift it. Plan on running 275/70/18 BFG all terrains on stock wheels.

This rig will be primarily used on the road. I don't need anything crazy for a lift. Should the Daystar kit be sufficient for what I need?

Obviously looking to spend the least amount of money that I can as this will be a budget build. $3-$400 would be max that I could spend.

Thoughts?

Yeah, a spacer lift would be fine. And for that budget really your only option.

Thanks buddy. What about the Bilstein 5100 kit? I could do 2.5" up front and a 1" spacer in the back couldn't I? May ride better than the Daystar kit.

Not that I've ran the 5100, but not sure if it would ride noticeably better than stock on road. If your stock shocks have some miles on them, it wouldn't be a bad option to switch them out. I almost forgot how cheap the 5100s were.

Im very interested to see how this goes. I am also looking toward the Daystar, however I have XREAS...anyway, not to jack the thread but super interested to see how your truck turns out and if you do go with 5100, how that affects the ride.

Can you not use the daystar kit with XREAS?

You can use the Daystar kit with X-REAS. I just returned mine to Amazon after deciding I'd rather do quality coilivers once and be done. There are many options for suspension based on your budget-- check out the suspension thread stickies at the top of this forum!

For on road use, I'd definitely keep the XREAS. I would recommend using FJC coils or spacers. It should be enough for what you need.
