Got mine installed today. What a difference. As everyone else has said, they should've come from the factory like this.

Just to confirm, mine came with a harness with positive and negative terminal hook up. All the installs I've seen did not use this, so neither did I. They work fine, just confirming that I didn't need to use these.

If you went with the 5000K CMB bulbs then yes it would be a very close match as the Philips 4300K HID bulbs color shift to 4700K.

I would say 4300K since it's a warmer color and also a little brighter.

Glad to see you're happy with the results! As for the relay harness, it is completely optional with the 4runner since the Xtreme ballast has a low startup draw.

It is kinda crazy to me that 2 weeks ago I was considering a 4Runner to replace my perfectly fine 3 year old crew cab truck and now I have a new TRD 4R, suspension ordered, and after a weekend driving around Seattle with a tinted windshield and stock headlights I just had to take advantage of this.

Can't wait to get it all installed. If I could just manage to get a free weekend....

I'm fairly sure I know what I'm getting into. I've had HID's in every rig for the last 10+ years. I've had true projector retro projects, slapped them into halogen housings, had a set in Hella housings in a Jeep, etc. etc. I had a new RAM with them in the headlights and fogs. Couldn't see myself going with a less bright headlight on this one.

I actually live south of Portland but yeah, similar concerns.

I've had my windshield tinted in every rig I've owned over the last many years. I like my privacy. My last truck (RAM 1500) had all the windows done including the factory privacy glass. I literally drove it from the RAM dealership to the tint shop when I bought it.

I tried to find a shop to do my 4Runner when I left the dealership but no one was available for a couple days. I just had the fronts done for now with the windshield but will eventually do all the back ones with more tint.

It is actually a lot less intrusive than you would think. During the day it is like wearing sunglasses. Actually, probably not even that dark. At night with good lights it is no issue even out in the country where I live. In town there are no concerns at all. I actually find it easier to drive with the tint in town as it cuts out the glare from everyone else.

Anyway, just dropping this here just in case a few of you need to make some adjustments to your headlights. Ill be doing that this evening:

The BD fogs are very impressive and install was pretty straight forward [emoji1360]

Here's everything the 4Runner Baja Designs fog lights kits come with:

-(2x) 2010-2018 Toyota 4Runner Fog Pocket Brackets (447110)
-(2x) Squadron-R Series anti-glare / Filler Piece
-Wiring Adapter

I got my LED head lights in the mail, figs come tomorrow. I have a few install questions. Do I need to drill the dust cap? Also I think I’ve seen somewhere that the way the less are face when installed makes a big difference. If so, what way should they be facing?

Awesome and no worries I'll be happy to answer your questions.

1- Yes, you'll need to drill a hole in the dust cover of the low beams since there isn't enough room for everything from the LED kit.

2- We recommend the LED diodes to end up at 3 and 9 o'clock once the LED bulb is locked in the housing.
