Looking for advice - going to Detroit with some buddies for the Detroit Auto Show in January. Looking for advice on a good area to stay with some decent nightlife/restaurants/places to get a good cold beer or two. Would prefer a walking area. We've been before and stayed over in Canada because it was cheap and close, but the border crossing was an event, so looking to stay stateside. Any ideas?
