Best seat cleaner for 4th G?

Hey everybody I am wanting to get some opinions on the best seat cleaner for a.4g. I have an SR5 and they are just the regular seats. Any suggestions would be helpful!

What do you mean seat cleaner? Like cleaning the fabric or the foam?

Yes cleaning the actual fabric. I have stains and mud and dirt that has accumulated and I want to clean them.

Sweet.. I didn't know the light from your headlights would clean fabric. Does that add HP too?

X2. That stuff works great, I cleaned my back seat this weekend with it. We have a puppy, it is an inventory item at my house.

I just cleaned my wife's car interior (door panels, seats & carpet) with Griots Garage interior cleaner. Worked better than other products I have tried in the past. Plus it has no smell; which nice. You can actually get it at some Advanced Auto Parts stores.

Spray it on liberally, let soak briefly, agitate with soft brush, wipe fabric in multiple directions with microfiber. Let dry.

I just purchased a 4th Gen, but on my 3rd I used a rug doctor and the difference was amazing! Just buy the upholstery cleaner and do not over saturate. It took about 6 hours on a warm day to dry.

Exactly! it not only cleans it but it also kills odors. When I first bought the 4R, previous owners owned a dog and so the truck smelled like it. It didn't stink, but it had that dog smell. I pulled all the seats out, used this bad boy (just a can for all seats) and bang, stains and smell were gone. Just last week I noticed some melted junior mints in the back seat from when I took my kids to the theater over a month ago. I used this stuff again, and voila, problem solved. I say you start with this, it is really not that expensive either.

Thanks guys! I might try both products. I have had 6 years of dogs, trail riding and kids so I need to give them a good cleaning. I appreciate your help.

If it's really dirty you can rent one of those carpet cleaners from the grocery store for $20/day. It has a built in liquid extractor. Get the stair tool with it. It's optional; doesn't cost more but they don't give it if you don't ask. Use the stair tool and your cleaner of choice. You might consider the anti suds additive they sell with it. I've heard of people using Mean Green or Fabuloso (Mexican cleaner that costs like $1 a bottle, highly concentrated, comes in different scents) If you can remove your front seats from the truck you can really get at the backseat and carpet. Take pictures of how dirty the water gets.

The very best way to clean your seat covers is to remove them from their seat frames and toss them in the washing machine. Do not dry them in the dryer! All you need is some hog rings and hog ring pliers to reattach the covers.
I have done my son’s Tacoma seats twice and about every other car that I have driven over 150,000 miles. Like my son said after that many miles of someone’s ass in the seat it begins to smell like someone’s ass in the seat.

Seen results from someone using a "little green clean machine" on their Dodge Ram seats. It was amazing the difference in the seats and how the water started out clean and came out black just from half of one seat.
