Well after a long time collecting parts and selling my old gray 2006 4Runner I got the suspension and a couple other things dialed in for the most part.

(Front) - 3.5 coax mod - these JBL GTO Series fit right in with modifications to the mounting holes on the gold standoff. Required no clearancing of the door panel or door.

Looks great, any pictures of the headunit and how was the install?

Don't have any of the head unit but I can grab one. Install was simple. Mine came with the adapters attached from a 2015 FRS and they plugged right in.

I need to pull it back out to install the Bluetooth mic so I can get some then.

I used the same adapters you see everyone else using in the majority of the other Scion unit installs. You will need the Bluetooth mic or nobody can hear you talk, all you hear is the person on the speakers.

The Bluetooth works perfect, steering controls work (even with Bluetooth connected). I can go from one song to the next on Spotify just by pressing the tune buttons on the steering wheel.

FYI, I am just using one antenna plug and it works fine. HD Radio works and multicast.

Those 3.5s look awesome. Didn't think you could fit them in there. Looks like that's what I will be doing. Do you have a baffle around them or is that how the GTOs are?

That's just how those JBL 3.5's are.

Again, the only modifications were to the bracket really. I had to basically hack off the tack welded nuts that held the bolts into the bracket. The holes where too close together. Also, I had to bore out the holes on the actual speaker itself.

Nothing a Dremel and 30 mins can't handle.

USE THE CAPACITORS that come with the 3.5's. Wire it in just like the stock system.

Thanks man. I haven't seen an XS-P lifted yet but there has to be a handful out there. I sold my gray SR5 to get the white XS-P with less mileage because I knew I'd be keeping it a while and putting a TON of $$ into it.

I took a look at yours and a couple of the other guys that are running spindles as well to get a few ideas of what I could run. So thanks for that.

Next is a little undercover prerunner bumper. Gonna be modeling it in Creo at some point.
