Lets get some 4Runners together and hit the trails at this event!

These are great trails, as difficult as you want to go with your rig. I took my minimally upgraded TE on some very difficult trails here a few months ago and had a blast. Now with a 3" lift, I am ready for more (I already had the BudBilt sliders then... and put them to good use!). Rocks, steep climbs, deep mud holes, water, water, water and plenty of challenges. Mostly Jeep people there, so come on out and lets make a good showing for the 4Runners! I am local so will definitely be there with mine Friday evening (will run with some locals with modified Jeeps on some of the level 6 and 7 trails), then plan to do something more mellow Saturday and Sunday. probably half day Saturday because of son's Little League. Hit me up for any info on the area! Hope to see you guys there.

Sounds good! I should have my 2.5" lift installed and my duratracs on by then.. no sliders yet but hopefully sooner than later.. you think i can do those tougher trails like that? Trails 6&7? ... ill probably be heading up fri.. if not then sat morning! There will be a few rigs like 8 w us.. i know a 1st or 2nd gen 4runner and a wrangler will b us and hopefully a tacoma if my friend gets one in time
 
little nervous without sliders...

On the trail I went, Wahoo, it would have destroyed my rocker panel without sliders. It did mess up my back bumper skirt, but it popped back into place. The 5's and low 6's should not be a big deal... I believe it was Sissy (not sure0 that had a very sharp turn where I HAD to pivot on my sliders because of the length of the 4R. Are you guys all camping? There will be some of us arriving early Friday to get in some runs.
 
Yea we'll be camping in camp 2.. i think i'll be there mid to late afternoon around 3-5. A few of my buddies will be there early on friday.. if i go earlier, i'll let you know! Do you have a trail? Or limited/sr5 (regarding the rocker panel)
 
Have a TE with 3" lift and sliders

Last time there I did not have the lift, just Blistein shocks in the front and the sliders. Was a bit scrappy on Wahoo and nervous but with the lift will be good to go! I will meet up with the locals there and drop by camp 2 to meet up. Message me for my phone number
 
I am interested in going. Stock though. What trails should I sign up for? I couldnt find a map or list on the website. Whats the camping situation? I'm off that entire weekend and would love to come down. Any other info on camping or meet ups would be appreciated.

Mook might know better.. but somewhere I've read a guide that shows which trails for stock, intermediate etc.. most if my group are doing the lighter trails since we don't have anything crazy. I may... do up to trail 5.. 1-5 6and up i was advised to stay away from.
 
Just lifted mine today and got my duratracs on yesterday! Ill post pics soon!

today is the day.. i'm heading up to Gore, va (the Cove) in about an hour or so.. i'll see ya'll there my cell# is 301-nine eight zero - tree tree too nine ;) ... i'll be in camping area 2 camp sites 28-30 and 31
 
I have to work today and tomorrow untill 5pm...anyone camping over night sat night? i'm pretty close might be cool to swing by and meet people maybe drink a few if thats permitted there. anyone trail riding on sunday?

wish i would have seen this tread sooner, i would have soooo taken off work. ive been wanting to attend something like this. never been to one
