BILSTEIN INSTALL ISSUES on LIMITED, need your inputs and suggestions.

has anybody had this issue installing 5100s strut on the limited?
the strut seems like its too long my truck.
the springs dobinsons 300. strut set at 0 level.
i took the leaking xreas out.
need your expert input and suggestions,

Not an expert by far, but do you have the washer in place between the top hat and shock?

is this due because I did not install the bottom bushing/washer between the coils and top hat?

Should be, I think, washer, tophat, bushing, washer, nut.

Shock, shock cover (or metal washer from shock cover), washer, bushing (attached to inside of top hat), top hat, upper bushing, washer, nut.

my understanding is the order in this picture is how it should be assembled. Please correct if wrong!

Pretty much but that pic doesn't show the bushing inside the tophat. Also the OP removed the shock cover and it seems to be the general consensus that if you do this then the metal washer that is part of the shock cover still needs to be used.

Pic of the lower rubber bushing can be found in the Amazon reviews. Anyways, the point should be moot since it's attached to the tophat.

you missed either the metal washer or bushing under the top hat.
