Black Bumpers

So I was thinking about painting the chrome bumpers on my rig but am dreading dealing with sanding all the chrome and since I already have a dent on the front bumper I'm considering trying to find some black bumpers to replace them with. I'm wondering what you guys think about picking up the following bumpers on Ebay to get the look I'm wanting:

You don't have to sand the crap out of chrome. I have painted 3 chrome bumpers including the rear on my T4R. All I used was some 220 grit sandpaper and scuffed it up real good, primer and some gloss black Krylon. Every bumper has held up fine.
