PrinSu is more or less are catch all. It is a reasonable price, durable, and extremely versatile with all of the add-ons you can attach to it. Some have complained that it isn't as "robust" as they would like. I think this is due to its modular design but it’s very capable and can hold a roof top tent as well. This is a 100% aluminum construction so it will be very light weight and you do not have to worry about rust. Recently PrinSu introduced their ridgeline handles which allows handles on the side of the rack with the option to integrate lights on the side. The handles cost 89.99 for a pair but do not include lights only the ability to integrate lights.

Sherpa is another amazing option and we have seen an increase in the amount of people inquiring on them. They have a solid design, allows for a lot of the same versatility, but the price is more expensive. This is a 100% aluminum design with stainless steel hardware. Right now there is a great deal on those which brings the cost comparable to the PrinSu Racks.

upTOP Overland offers great racks but they typically always have a longer lead time than the two companies above. What I like about their racks is the integrated grab handles and the availability for their scene pods which would be lights that integrate into the sides of the roof rack. The grab handles come standard but the scene pods are an extra cost. This is also an aluminum construction to make it extremely light weight and rust/corrosion resistant. The Alpha is most expensive rack of the three currently while the Bravo doesn’t offer those options it is very cost effective and what I would liken to more of a base model. Both the Alpha and Double Cab feature what upTOP calls their grooveARMOR sides….which really allows tie down points down the entire length of the rack.

I hope this helps sort some options out for you....and luckily we have some great deals on all three currently.
