Black Tail Light Mod - NOT smoked or tinted

Has anyone opened up the tail lights to black out the inside of them? Same idea as the Black Headlight Mod which has a few write-ups, just on the tail lights instead.

From what I know, other members have tried.
The glue is apparently made of something different than the headlights and wont bake apart as easily. It would probably be easier to buy aftermarket. Though I do wonder if using a dremel and silicone would work lol.

Thanks for the find. But thats much more work than I am willing to do. Plus I can't see the lens going back on without the cut up edge being visible.
