You spent $40k on a truck. Don’t cheap out on parts. Those Chinese knockoffs will not survive.

For what it's worth, the OEM Toyota pro upper grill insert I bought was cracked by a rock within 3 months of owning it. Not saying that a knock off would've taken the hit any better, but I might not have been so upset if it were a cheaper part taking the damage.

I used SEM bumper coater to spray mine, and they turned out great. I took the front and rear bumpers off to do it, but if I had to do it again I'd just use the index card / playing card trick and then tape everything off. Total cost of everything (2 cans of spray paint) was like $40.

Plasti Dip is your best friend for that or even better the new Hyper Dip looks like real paint, is available in a variety of colours and you can always peel it off easily if you decide to change ....

spend money where it needs to be spent. what is it supposed to survive? OEM TRD pro valence will also be destroyed if you try and ram ruts/rocks with an entire 4runner behind it lol

when it comes to useless farkles, it's best to spend the least viable amount for the application.

save money for shit that matters
