I was quoted about $100 per wheel yesterday: $65 for the PC and $1/min for sandblasting to remove finish/imperfections... so she said it usually comes to a hund..



I LIKE the blacked out truck! i think it would look gnar lifted w/ aggressive tires. its like dyrdeks tahoe
 
looks good you got a different look going on most def....keep it stealthy like this bad a$$ ride the new night rider Mustang GT500KR is so cool

Man, I may be getting a 2008 Urban 4Runner, the black one. It's so sick looking, It's got grey/dark rims, and the headlights are a little blacker than the other 4Runner's. And the interior is sick!. But I'll have to sell my 4Runner for more than $20,000... I'm thinking about putting it on Ebay. But anyways the reason I'm posting in this thread is because the Urban Runner reminded me of your 4Runner..

I want to crack open my headlights so I can get the amber reflector out of there, or paint it black. I was going to cook em, can you elaborate on why they are really hard to get out? How much did it cost you to do the headlights?

Damn I knew someone would have beaten me too it here!! I am in the process of the same thing- got my lights black, debadged/de-emblemed, black rims almost happened but my tire choice apparently is too big (285/65/18), and the grille is on it's way- figure I can sell the chrome one. Your's looks sweet and when I'm done should be something like yours I hope. Good work!

Good luck selling the chrome grille. Seems like everyone is trying to get rid of theirs. Mine is just sitting under my bed. :D

Where did you go to get your headlights blacked out, if you don't mind me asking?
 
I have a 2008 SR5 V6 2WD and it is Sandstone Pearl (I think).... I want to fix it up a little bit, and I have the rims I want.... They are black with a tiny bit of chrome (Ion Alloy 133).... Where do I start??? I want a black grille, new headlight assembly (mine are so dull and foggy), black emblems, and to get it looking good, now that it is paid for. Please help!!!!

Your color is probably driftwood pearl. Plastidip is your friend with blacking things out. A lot of the time your headlights can be buffed clear with a headlight restoration kit which definitely beats the cost of new quality headlights (cheap ones will collect water inside after a while).
