Blacked Out Headlights for Sale

I have my old set of DIY blacked out headlights. These are not in perfect condition, they do have scratches and haziness in a few spots, however, they are in working condition. This may be a good mod for someone who doesn't want to tear apart their headlamps and paint themselves. Or someone who wants an extra set for a real retrofit.

Not looking to make money, just sharing my extra parts

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't retrofit mean upgrading the '03-05 headlights to the '06-'09 projectors? Your '08 should be "retrofitted" from the factory. :shrug: Again, I could be wrong :nerd:

Retrofitting involves putting a projector from a car with HID projectors such as an Acura or Infiniti and putting them in our stock housings.

Correct. It would be an upgrade to the OEM Koito projectors we have in the 06-09. Theretrofitsource.com has quick retro kits, or you could go full custom with whatever projectors/bulbs/ballasts you choose.

That's what I would love as well. But it looks like money restrictions will keep me with the FX-Rs in the '03-'05 housing.

Fx-r is great, but use oem when possible and add a clear lens to it, setup is way better with oem projectors with clear lens than the replica projectors. I been there and done that.

I didn't see the LS430 at TRS. Where are you getting them from?

Look in their VIP projector section. Right now, they only have LS460's, but it seems like certain ones come and go all the time, so you're best bet is too either keep looking (like myself. ) or call TRS and see if they can hook you up otherwise.


*edit* just checked today, they have a few more in stock including the LS430's.
