Blacking out headlights question.

Hi all Ive recently purchased some paint to tackle the blacked out headlight mod using OEM headlights. I removed the lights with no issue but after following multiple threads(i think every single one of them) about the DIY techniques, i couldn't separate the headlight. I heated the light housing for 250 degrees for 10 minutes and it feels like the lense is not budging. I am using flat head screw drivers and don't know what I am doing wrong. Has anyone run into this issue or had any trouble in the past? I really want to get this mod done soon and could really use any input, cheers!

Did you remove all the screws from the back of the housing? I believe there are 6 or 7. If you, try bumping up the temperature and don't wait for them to cool down obviously. They'll separate.

Surprising that 250 won't get it. I've had others tell me to get the oven to temp then turn it off before putting the lights in to lessen the risk of damaging anything.

250deg should do the trick rather easily. I'd double check and make sure you got all of the screws out. Mine came apart rather easily. GL

250 should do it... be careful bumping the temp higher, I always use 200 degree for 10 minutes and haven't had any problems yet.
