Bluetooth Cuts out?

2014 4runner Trail edition. The bluetooth connects with my phone and then it freezes about every 10 min. The screen gets locked out and it goes through a 2 min restart. Has anyone else experienced this and what is the fix?

Mine did this yesterday but when playing directly from an iPod with the car in motion. The Entune system would not turn off manually by pressing off the power button either. It stayed on, then turned off, and then restarted.

Iphone? Android? Which phone version? Software Version? Manufacturer?

Do you plug in the phone to the USB port?

My older model LG Volt (Android) won't fully interface with the Bluetooth on entune (2017 4Runner SR5). No connectivity for cell service, though it will pair up, download the contacts, etc. My wife's newer Amazon/Blu Android works fine.

I'm due to upgrade that phone anyway. Is Toyota's entune phone list the best resource to check before buying a new phone?

2 days ago mine started skipping when streaming pandora. It was right after an update that it began. I will get in, turn the car on and phone connects. It's like a cd skipping. If I turn off and then on the Bluetooth on my phone, it fixes itself. iPhone and '16 TEP
