My exhaust has bit the dust. I have a hole in my muffler and the whole system is so rusted its not worth trying to weld in a new one. I want to get a catback system but I don't want to bother with stainless. I wouldn't mind high flow for performance but minimizing cost is my pirority. Is anyone on here running a Bosal cat back? I found one from my local part source for just under 300. I searched exhaust and was suprised that I didn't find many option's.
Bosal exhaust anyone?

We put a Bosal on my buddy's truck a few years ago, decent kit for the price. Two things you should consider though:
1.) JBA stainless catback can be bought for about $350
2.) Any decent exhaust shop could make you a mandrel bent cat back system for under $300 installed including a decent aftermarket muffler.

When you get it installed you get it welded as opposed to using the clamps and you're good to go. But I think the custom bent system is the better route to go anyway. Muffler is a matter of preference. You won't see any performance gains worth mentioning so it comes down to a matter of what sound you prefer. I have a Cherry Bomb Vortex on mine, it sounds throaty without being obnoxious.

FWIW, I believe Bosal makes the TRD catback system for the 2nd gen Tacoma and I am running one of those on my Taco. It seems to be well made and it sounds good without being too loud.
