Boss coil over advice needed

01 SR5 115,000 miles: I finally was able to lift my truck after owning her for 5 years with a toytec boss lift, ome 890 Springs last month and overall I am very pleased with it. Just installed 265/75/16 duratracs last week. I have been trying to track down a driveline vibration ever since lift was installed, it starts at around 55mph to about 75mph. Vibration lessened somewhat after tire install, but mechanic did recommend longer pan hard bar and lower rear controll arms. Necessary? Should I go with just the pan hard bar. I just walked out to my truck and noticed it was leaning to the drivers side? Is it normal for this to happen after 500 miles? Took measurements: center hub to bottom of "sport" flair= 23" pass side, 22 1/2" drivers side. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I also had this problem with my boss coilovers. Lowered both to 22.5 center of hub to fender flare and all is well now. Also check tire balance. The first shop I went to butchured it.

It's not uncommon for a wheel not to be 100% balanced even when it was supposedly done. Possible that the shop doesn't want to admit that they didn't properly balance your wheels so it's likely they'll blame it on something else. If you have suspension mods, they like blaming stuff on that. But if you do rule out wheel balance (as in they let you watch them balance it and you can see that they zero'd out the balance), it could be alignment if it isn't close or within factory specs.

I haven't noticed a difference regarding handling after putting on my adjustable panhard. The only thing I do notice is my rear axle is centered.

If I remember correctly, the boss coilovers are supposed to be preloaded for 2.5" lift. Assuming you didn't make any adjustments to them when you got them, it is very common for the passenger side to sit higher due to weight differences. Same reason why the pass side 890 is about .5" shorter then the driver side. My front pass side was ~.75" higher when I first installed it & had to adjust it. Turn your passenger side coil down ~.25" measuring by thread count & it should level out. You could turn up your driver side ~.25 to get both sides at 23" but if you have the 890's in the rear, the .5" rake will look good...assuming your rear mid hub to fender is 23".

Thank u sport05 and fourfive, thinking I might go down with fronts, rears are at 23" from center cap to fender, already have rake. Maybe I'll bring it back to Firestone and have it aligned again.
