Boston Bombing

Just wanted to raise awareness for the bombing that just took place in Boston today. Hope everyone is well and uneffected. For all those that were, I wish them well.

That is just crazy, my thoughts and prayers to those affected. Messed up.........

If/When they find those responsable, it is my hope that they rot in jail and that the public be allowed to visit them and mess with them (how? use your imagination) for the rest of their lives (yeah, I know the latter won't happened, but still...........)
 
Crazy happenings here today which local news is now calling a terrorist attack. Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and police report finding two other devices nearby. The latest update is 2 dead one of which is an 8 year old child and nearly 75 injured with about 15 critical.
 
Local news sites are reporting that the authorities have video footage of a guy walking around with multiple backpacks and being seen putting one in a trash can.

I knew countless people either watching or running, everyone is ok and accounted for but man, things like this really put things in perspective.

edit: the only silver lining that could be found in this is that Boston hands down has some of the best medical centers in the world, all within just a few miles of the finish line. Lots of first responders deserve praise.

There's also an Image of a man standing on top of the building where the first explosion occurred looking down at it, and in the next picture literally a second later he was seen running across a different building.

Yea I know the one you are talking about. While the picture itself looks extremely ominous and certainly suspicious, it is not uncommon at all for residents to watch the marathon from their rooftop. I've watched numerous Boston Marathon's and concerts at Fenway from rooftops and I'm not sure how much stock should be put into that picture.

I'm not sure I've seen the one of him running away, that would certainly be even more suspicious.
 

As a distance runner myself, this hits home. I ran the 10K in Richmond on Saturday - along with about 40,000 other people. It could have happened anywhere.

It is too early to speculate on suspects or motive - just have sympathy for the dead, the injured and their families. Give law enforcement time to investigate and take it from there.

Yep there's I believe 3 pictures of him, the one where you can see him mid stride in the middle of the building, the one where he is looking down over the edge, and the one of him running. I saw them all on twitter a few hours ago and can't seem to find them again

I've been watching continuing coverage of this incident since 3:30 and there has been no mention of either of these.

Listen I'm not trying to start rumors or speculate, but you do realize that there are more than just one news channel in Boston. Unless you have 5 tv's going at once, don't make it seem like I'm just posting things for the **** of it. I can't find the one that mentioned the trash cans but I will and when I do I will post it up as well.

Boston/Patriot Day

Not meaning to make this less than it is , because it isn't , when an 8 yr old kid losses his life & other's suffering amputations , these idiots dare call them selves patriots . IMO it will be some of the same mcvey type fools who think this makes a statement , well its just a damn shame !!
 
Sad to say, but this one seems home grown. Boston... On tax day... Which is also Patriots Day locally... At the Boston Marathon. The explosives, while catastrophic, seem to pale in comparison to what we hear about overseas.

In any case I hope all those injured recover quickly and those deceased RIP.
