Until recently, I've been driving my heavily modified Mustang GT on a daily basis. The miles began to take their toll and I blew a head gasket, resulting in some pretty costly maintenance (as well as me using my wife's car for a couple weeks). The Mustang is back together now, but I wanted the security of an extra vehicle.
I found a 1998 4Runner SR5 with 159,800 miles, single owner, clean title, all maintenance records, all maintenance performed at Toyota dealership. It was listed for $3000, so I jumped on it.
Since I bought it, I've seafoamed it, cleaned the MAF and TB, changed the oil/filter, and replaced the air filter. It rides a bit rough, so I may check out the condition of the struts/shocks soon. I also have a B&M external transmission cooler arriving tomorrow. I've attached pics below:
