Brake ? 2007 4runner

Easy question, I have changed brakes before in my Old Jeep(Sorry I was a jeep guy, but I love the 4 runner now.) I could not find any documention on how to change the brakes and removing the roter. The Caliper is very differnent from what I was use to and can not seem to figure out how to get the pads off and the roter. I see I see there is a rod and a cotter pin on the end, that goes through the break pads, but after you take the off how do you push the piston back to take the breaks out, and how to you take the whole caliper off to take of the roter.
I did not want to just start taking off bolts, I am sure If did that I would figure it out.
Are there any books out there on the 07 4 runner. I was use to using cliton, but they do not seem to have any for this year model. Any help and direction that I could be given would be extermly help full.

There is a write up here on the forum.

The 4Runner has a fixed caliper setup, which is different than the more common floating caliper.

Here's brief instruction to change the pads. Remove the clips at the ends of the two pins. Remove the two pins and then the hold down spring. Take a C-clamp and clamp the pads down at the tabs which the pins go through against the caliper.

There are two bolts in the back to remove the caliper. Unless you're getting rotors turned, you don't need to remove the caliper.

im not an expert by any means..lol i used channel locks and a piece of scrap wood so not to mar or break anything and bled the breaks while pushing down on the pistons..worked for me and didnt bleed that much...( the break fluid that is)

Thanks for the tip.
Damn that was the easist set of pads I've ever changed. The harded part was getting the lugs/wheels off. I like the idea of not having to remove the whole caliper just to replace the pads.
