What he said. Although if that rotors been there a while it is unlikely that it will pop off. Just smash them off with a 5 pound sledge!

Before you unbolt it, pop the clip off the hardline bracket on the control arm. That way you won't damage the hard line nor have to open up the brake line.
 
Dumb question, but want to know, is it likely I need new calipers if I need new rotors cause they are warped? If not, and doing a simple rotor swap up front will be fine, will I need to bleed the brakes or anything, or just slide them off and slide new ones on? Would it be worth bothering to get rotors resurfaced?

not a dumb question :) usually warped rotors wont warrant new calipers.. if they compress normally and are bled they should be fine, new rotors and pads would be enough

depending on how warped the rotors are, you might be able to get away with just resurfacing them. make sure you break in your brakes when you replace them though
 
Sweet, thanks for the tips. I'm a the point where I want to start DIYing on my brakes. Next stop engine, lol.
 
Also make sure if you get new rotors, before installing wipe them down with brake parts cleaner because they come with a preservative oil on them that prevents rust. You'll notice the feel a bit greasy.
