Brand New: High Country Fabrication Bumper

I was the first one to sign on for one of Mtn.Runner's new bumpers for 4th gen T4s, and I'm sure glad I did. Jesse took all of my preferences I had and incorporated them into one badass bumper. He kept me up to date on all the progress he was making along the way, and seriously went above and beyond my expectations for this project. We ran into some pretty big differences between the early/late 4th gen front ends, which required a bit more work than either of us planned. But it was fun, I learned a lot(never been around much metal fabrication) and in the end, he turned out a product that gives the bigger armor companies a serious run for their money.

The first image below was the nearly finished product, before we ran into some fit issues with the final install. Because of the weird fender/bumper brackets on my '04, we had to cut quite a bit more steel, which marred the finish a little. We ended up with a 90 degree cut on the wings instead of the original angles, which I have to say I actually like a lot.

Anyways, what do you all think? One thing to keep in mind, if the bumper doesn't look quite even, its not the bumper- its my entire front end; reference my signature:ybrick:

Looks good, personally I'd tweak it abit if it was going on my truck but I really like the coverage, looks like it would protect well especially those rads

As for the front end of you truck, for 9k they didn't do a very good job. That righthand headlight lower garnish has the gap tolerance of a GM product

Yeah you're telling me. Carfax showed one $800 collision. After I bought it, my insurance guy ran his own check, and found it was actually in 3 separate accidents. That really made my day.

Quick question, do the front inner fender liners come out? I figured they probably would. Reason I ask is that my new tires are rubbing the fender liner just a bit at full lock but assuming the new bumper would require the fender liner to be removed, it will be a non-issue.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure he has already started on yours. Looks like you have an 07, so there really should be no issues like we ran into, with the fender bumper mounts affecting the shape of the wings. Ya the wheel well liners can be trimmed easily with a razor blade or tin snips to either match the bumper line, or you can take them almost all the way to the top, which I chose to do. I was thinking I might try to come up with some sort of splash guard to keep debris out of the inside of the bumper, but there's so much room in there it will be real easy to hose down

I thought I'd update this, since I finally found the time to get the light mounting brackets tweaked and refinished the bumper with spray on bed liner- when Mtn.Runner and I were trying to mount the bumper the first time, we had to cut and weld a few parts, which marred the finish a little. Thanks to Gaterose for those lights, they are bright as sh*t! Here she is:
