I’m trying to keep my 2018 at, or near, the original ride height (for reasons). However, I want to add a winch and the necessary bumper (probably a low profile, not full width) which will add about 150lbs to the very front. In my opinion, the front is already soft, so this will make it worse. I also carry a dirt bike on the rear hitch on occasion, so firming up the rear would be nice.
So I want to increase the spring rate F/R without significantly lifting the vehicle. I’ll concede a max lift of 2” (with winch bumper installed) up front and as close to +0” in the rear as possible. I’d prefer close +0” on both ends.
I don’t want “firmer shocks”, I want “stiffer springs”, if that makes sense. I searched quite a bit and I’m not coming up with much.
Any ideas?
