Break-in period

Hey everyone, new owner here.

I've read the manual and several posts where the details on the break-in period are explained. No towing, no high constant speed, etc. But is there a break-in period before I venture out of the pavement? Some friends are taking their trucks to the beach (about 20 min drive on soft sand) and I would really like to join them. Mine has just 350 miles on it and so far I've been babying it. It's a LE 4x4.

I assume you are talking about your gear break in? As long as you have done the initial 15 miles/cool down thing and you don't hammer it on the sand I don't see a problem. But that's my$.02 350 miles is a pretty good distance.

I just put new gears in and had just over 550 on it and then ran Rubicon.
