British Racing Green. How would it look?

Toyota just released the 86 Hakone Edition in British Racing Green. I love this color. Who thinks it would look good on a 4runner? Any photoshop experts out there want to give it a go?

I want mine brown. Like almost as dark as UPS truck brown. Someday someone will develop a configurator that will let us preview color changes.

I'm dead serious about the brown, though.

I love a dark metallic green, like this one or a forest green. I would seriously be tempted to upgrade if they came out with this color on the 4Runner. The Honda Passport has a dark green color that looks great in the right trim.

BRG looks good on almost all cars.

not trying to be "that guy" but I have owned British sports cars and that color is not BRG. Granted BRG is different for each manufacturer but I don't remember ever seeing metallic versions. The 3rd gen 4Runners had a dark green that was close but still a little darker but it would give you a pretty good idea of what any dark green might look like on current models

I was thinking the same thing as Ghostrider, regarding the BRG in metallic. It looks good on the small 86 car but it might be a little much on a big vehicle, like our T4Rs.
The color in the photos immediately made me think of this other native of Japan.

Lol that brown sucks LOL ask any ups driver how they like that crap brown, believe it or not but people just don’t see that color very well, there are so many people who run into parked UPS trucks, it’s ridiculous.would be interesting to see one in that color though..

Actually I think that green would look awesome.

Honestly being a designer I just don’t get why Toyota keeps colors soooooo long. They don’t offer fresh new colors at all other than the Pro. Just doesn’t make sense in today’s consumer market. Even subtle changes to standard colors. Black with a micro metallic cobalt blue flake, white with a silver flake, dark candy apple with a burnt orange flake, a color like the Mazda ceramic gray, etc etc.

I get only offering a special color in the Pro, only if it is all or nothing. The fact you can get Pro colors on non-Pro tacos is not right either. If you are going to do that then roll it out to 4Rs as well. Or the special edition in Hawaii in VooDoo blue, what the heck it is not even a 4x4.

What a product looks like plays a HUGE role in sales of almost all consumer goods. Even one special color across the 4R line would increase sales. Or a special color unique to SR5s, ORP, and Pros would be cool. Still keeps that prestige of the Pro while offering incentive to the rest of us.

I like British Racing Green, but not on the 4Runner. I would love the metallic brown with copper undertones that was available on the Tundra 1794 for a few years.

Learned my lesson with dark colors in Florida and off-road, so I went with boring silver.

Typically, I'm not a green paint fan. But, if the BRG had a bit of iridescence or metal flake in it, it might work well.
