Broken headlight housing

I'm looking to replace my '97 headlights with 99+. One salvage yard near me has a set, but the housing on one light is broken. I haven't seen it, so I am not sure what the extent of the damage is. I'm wondering if I could buy the 99+ and switch them into the housing of my '97, any ideas?

If so, any tips, tricks or pics?

if the 99s all the tabs and what not are not all busted you can use the housing from your 97s no problem

I busted a headlight awhile back and got a cheap replacement off ebay. It was all plastic and whatnot, But it was cheap so I didnt care at all

I bought these ones on ebay and they have the glass lenses like OEM. The ones I received were made by Eagle Eyes. Ended up taking them apart and putting a projector inside, so I can't attest to the reflector output. So far, the glass and stuff is holding up well though.
