Brush guards and light bar mounting

I actually ordered the brackets and a 42" bar yesterday right after my post. Should be arriving Friday, and I'll install this weekend. I'll be sure to let you know how it pans out for me

Well the brackets and light bar showed up today. Made a quick preliminary assessment and it doesn't look like these brackets fit this vehicle (at least not with a 42" light bar). I'll dive a little deeper tomorrow and post an update

Those brackets definitely don't work with a 42" bar. The bar is 4.5" top wide for them.

Can always get the brackets made for a 54" bar! Which is what ill do now.

But the brackets do work on the body of the 2nd gen yota correct?

Here are the brackets I used. They say they are for a 50in bar but mounting the 42in I have worked well.

The brackets fit the body lines just great. If you had a 35"/36" light bar they would work out perfectly

The brackets I purchased were for a 50" light on a full size chevy/gmc truck.

All's I know is overhead light bars suck in the dust! Out in Glamis or Ocotillo they are about worthless if you're following. Amber lenses cut the dust a little.
Might be good for the trail though, never tried.

You might try Trail Gear, they make a nice relatively inexpensive tube bumper.
