Bug Out Bag?

With that being said, my work "go-bag" consists of 7x30 round magazines of 5.56 for my M4, 4x15 round mags for my 9mm pistol, 2 frag grenades, 1 smoke grenade, small handheld GPS, evasion map with lensatic compass, IR strobe, IR chemlights, a wool hat, jacket, socks and a 2 MREs.
.

Frag grenade? Didn't see those on sale at Cabellas. :wtf: !!!!!

Frag grenades....NOW were talkin'!!:wink2:

My plan would be to get to someplace very remote as quickly as possible, period.

I would think that gangs of roving thugs will pretty much decimate you, and anything in your house. You might get one or two, maybe ten...but for how long? Those without will be going straight to the source to get/take what they need...money, food, jewelry, laid, etc.

I think my trailer would work for awhile, but only if it were much better camo'd..same thing with the truck....I consider both an escape pod...hopefully get as far as possible as quick as possible....then take and cache the most helpful items in several spots

I have no formal training so I'm sure my thought process is flawed.

Water - Katadyn Pocket Water Filter plus steripen and iodine and bleach plus I always keep a few cases of potable to grab around the house
Food- 3 days plus multi fuel stove and spare parts
Navigation - GPS and Suunto MC-2 compass plus topo maps and multiple predetermined routes to multiple destinations.
Medical - Probably overkill but its what I do
Safety - Knife, basic tool set, firearms Rifle, Pistol, and shotgun
extra fuel
