Built 2018 Limited - WWYD?

I am looking to get back into the overlanding 4R game (had a '14 ORP) and found this '18 Limited with 81k. Its in good shape and has everything including onboard air and dual battery (optima) setup. The carfax and Toyota service history is lacking, but I can tell it's been well maintained. They are asking $31k. Should I move on or have it inspected at a Toyota dealership and make an offer?

IMO that is a good deal as long as it passes the dealer inspection.

Prices vary around the country, so hard to know what it is worth in your area.
Where I live, and the last time I checked, my 2018 SR5 Premium was still worth $35K, exactly the same price I paid for it new five years ago. 4Runners keep their value.

Thanks for the input. I just got back from looking a second time and was able to drive it and climb around it thoroughly...hard pass. I'd give them 25, maybe.

The inside was pretty nice actually. I went last night to look at it for the first time and that is what impressed me. After looking at it today in the day light, I was not impressed with the hack job done to the front fender wells. The completely missing front fender liners looked like they were literally ripped out... broken pieces of liner plastic still hanging on to some of the the bent tabs. I understand that the front bumper required mods to this area, but it looks very unprofessional which makes me worry about the rest of the work. No TPMS sensors and the tires are on their last leg. Also, the Ironman foam suspension probably needs to be rebuilt. Meh...

That’s the problem with all those mods, probably better to pass and maybe mod what you want on a stock one.
