Burning smell

So some people who know me may say that I have slight to moderate road rage. Today I needed to pass someone (they were stupidly slow) and stepped on it. The torque converter unlocked and I shot forward. My rear window was down which was pushing air from the back of the rig forward. After slowing down a bit I got burning smell from the rear. I just drained and filled the transmission and put in a cooler and filter along with it. So my thought that is that it shouldn't be the transmission. But what else could it be? I have full oil, trans and power steering. Could the diffs do that? I have never seen mine leak but I also haven't checked them since I bought it.

So you've looked it over and no obvious leaks? Mine only leaked from the VCs, tightened 'em up, cleaned it off as best i coud and a few weeks later the smoking/smell ended, been 3 yrs! Luck!

Na, they seem dry everywhere I can tell. I'll look again after I get off work.

I sometimes to smell something funky when going fast , I don't know if it's the air or the car. I check under the hood and under the car and no means. Bone dry.

It can't be oil burning up ? Can it ? Although me oil level is constant.

Maybe we burning rubber up lol?
