If I may...

My initial impression regarding the asthetics of the new C4 bumper...
Too many logos. I’ve no doubt the build is first rate and this bumper looks great. I’m willing to admit that maybe it’s just me but there are too many C4 logos all over it it. I get that branding is it’s own form of advertising and a way for vehicle owner and fabricator to show off a rig’s Mods and improvements. Just a fine line I guess that I’m sensitive to and this feels a little too much like an advertisement and not enough like my own personal build. Does that make sense?
I am proud to have y’alls C4 front bumper on my own rig and am shopping for a rear bumper (keeping an eye on the Pelfrey drama) while I debate the pros and cons and asthetics of the 5th gen swing our rear bumper options out there.

So can I get it with a few less C4 logos on it?

All the logos are removeable except the ones cut into the sides of the bumper near the slotted cutouts.

Yes it does! In fact we did comparative measurements on other full replacement bumpers out there right now and ours offers the most ground clearance of all of them. The bumper sits up much higher at the fender/wheel well area which helps prevent from scraping when the rear tires are dropping off of obstacles. Our bumper is about 4" higher than stock in that area. Also the bumper is designed to give maximum clearance for larger tires so that you don't rub on the bumper when installing 285 or larger tires.
Departure angle is better than stock if you remove your stock spare and put it onto the swing arm. Otherwise departure angle is about the same as stock right at the center portion of the bumper, that is because the factory bumper already fits right up against the frame in the back so its really about impossible to make a steel bumper fit any closer than the plastic one.

What is the turnaround time from order to ship?

Right now we are estimating 8-12 weeks. It really depends on how many have been ordered before yours.

We use several mounting points around the frame to attach the bumper. There are large brackets that attach to the bumper and then those brackets attach to the frame. That allows for more adjustability of the bumper.

So those large brackets bolt to the bottom of the frame in 5 places on each side, then the bumper bolts in the middle rear of the frame in 4 places where the hitch attaches. We also have two more mounting plates that sandwich against the top of the frame at each rear corner using captured nuts that go inside the frame. Lastly there is also some really stout support brackets near the wheel well at the front edge of the bumper that bolt from the front lower corner of the bumper to the frame using two bolts on each end.
We are confident that ours is the most stout and wiggle free full replacement bumper out there for sure!

Question from another Pelfrey victim: Can you switch the tire carrier portion to the drivers side on a dual carrier? Already have a Gobi ladder/rack and trying to keep part of rear window area open for my pups to look out.

Yes the tire carrier can be mounted on the driver side if you would like it to be located on that side!

That is one of the many great things about our swing out design is the versatility of how all the accessories can be mounted.
