want to do this to my wife's mommy wagon. Looks great. Are those the original tires? If they are it's a definite purchase. My wife, no fault of her own, totaled our silver 16 SR5 when a deer jumped out and got swallows by the rig. All 7 airbags deployed. Wife and kids walked away without injury. We love the silver 4 runner so much we're getting a 17. But I need something on the truck different from the last one to break the mojo. That's why I want the wheels. What you think about this bug deflector?its an earlier photo. To me it makes the truck look meaner and I can say in 1 full year not one chip on the hood. WDYT?

Yes they are stock Dunlops. Looks great for now. When she's due for tires, I'm going with 275 70 17 BFG'S KO2 and .85 setting with 5100s. It's the wife's, but I'll add my touch.

Also, like the deflector look. I, myself have been going with paint protection film on all of my vehicles now. The 3M pro series is self healing. That T4R was a real ***** of a front end though...lots of curves and corners.

Nfab Bar
265 General AT2s
F Black 17 rims
ARB Rear Air Locker
TRD Pro Trim
Custom made rear cargo tray/bed for flat lay (for camping)
TRD Skid Plate
Bilstein 5100x4 @1.75" + Daystar 1.5" rear

Hope you like it! Will add larger wheels later and a roof rack. Roof rack is underrated I think, and learned this on a trip to moab.

Will swap a hood if someone has a scoop to complete my silver trd pro look .

they do not. you can just buy one from any toyota after market parts store online, and just follow the instructions that come with the skid plate. You'll have to remove the old one and disgard it.

I love this thread and this forum! (This is my first post.)
...Just got this '14 Trail Edition a couple of weeks ago so it is pretty much stock +K&N filter currently ha ha.
I've taken her offroad a couple of times so far and have been impressed! The Rear Lockers sure came in handy in 4L a couple of times at a local ORV park the other week.

Planning to order a Safari Rack very soon (probably a Gobi but I welcome suggestions!). Other additions to follow....

PS: the truck on fire is my late '05 Tacoma which I wrecked a few weeks back while towing the '73 FJ-40 in the foreground. I believe it shifted into gear as I was doing about 60mph causing my Tacoma to roll 6 or 7 times. I was extremely fortunate to be conscious and able to climb out just as it went up in flames!

ha ha good eyes! It is actually a Ruger SR40C. It was toast unfortunately.
My ruger LCRX .357 fared much better luckily!
