i like the old Coleman stoves that run on white gas. in a pinch you can use gasoline. used an old single burner vintage one to make coffee in the mornings when my wife and i drove across the country a couple years ago. 37 days on the road and over 9000 miles driven. slept in the back of the truck almost the while time!

im personally still running an old Coleman, passed down to me from my dad actually, probably a good 30 years old now. I slapped some new paint on it and the thing looks great. when we go to meets and I pull it out everyone always seems to find my stove gives off the most heat. still rocking it and loving it

I am running a Coleman Gladiator stove. Yes, the one that everyone says cooks too hot. I got it on eBay brand new for less than a hundred bucks, so I figured I would take a chance on it. I have been very pleased with it after one small modification. I found that the gas valves for the burners would stick slightly at low heat. I hit them with a little white lithium grease and now I can simmer just like any other stove. The nice thing about this stove is the room you have for pans and when you need the heat you have it right at your fingertips. I cook with cast iron so it cooks very evenly and its easy to clean.

I have a Jetboil, which I only really use for water now, but I do have a small 6" cast iron skillet I can use with it. Really need something like a cast iron skillet because the heat is very concentrated.

Then this single burner from Costco... it works great when there is little to no wind. In heavy wind its a pain.

I now use this as my primary and it's been great... a little on the larger side but it works well. Think I got it at REI or Amazon.

We have a 22" Partner Steel stove for car camping, and won't use anything else ever again. This has by far been the best stove we've ever owned. Well worth the cost of it!

I jumped on that group buy last year and have been really happy so far. It’s been getting the most use lately during our kitchen reno. One simple “fix” the Mrs added, the side wind panels can slip off their adusting wire, a binder clip took care of that.
