Camping/Driving ON Beach

Hey all. I have a group of about 7 Yotas looking for a good camping spot to camp in/on (RTTs) our vehicles ON a beach. We are located in the Southeastern US and our driving limit is about 10 hours from Atlanta. Does anyone have any suggestions?

check out the outer banks NC We did not camp on the beach but I think you can.

There's only one driving beach in SC I can think of, and that's at the Port Royal Boat Landing but it's very small and they don't allow camping. Further up there's the Folly Beach park but it's only really a sandy parking lot, and again, no camping.

As far as I know that's the only one in the southern coast of SC. Can't help with Georgia though, sorry.
