Camping Metberry Gulch- March 2013

Some of my co-workers are planning a camping trip in March at Metberry

I want to open this up to the 4Runner community as well as others.
March is a little bit out but I like to plan things if I can.

Anyone interested in joining?

Thoughts are being at the camp site for lunch Saturday, camping over night and returning around noon Sunday.

It will be a good event to try out the Christmas mods you got.

Now, this is what I call "getting ready for spring"!

I definitely want to get out and do some camping this coming year... this past summer got kind of screwed up for me. This might motivate me to get some things done on my 4Runner. I haven't driven it it about 2 months! :cry2:

Meeting time 9:30, Head out to Trail at 10:00

I need to rebuild my front axle-shafts. I replaced them with Cardone units and the new driver-side diff seal is leaking now so it has to come out again. I'm not entirely sure of the fit of the Cardone shafts so I bought boot kits for the stock shafts and will put those back in. I'll probably need a battery now, too because I haven't driven the 4Runner in a while.

Plus, I'd like to install my new RCI t-case skid and B.A.M.F LCA skids.

I had trouble replacing the seal to the diff

Yeah, both seals are new, but the driver-side one leaked like crazy. I don't think I installed it deep enough... I saw a diagram that looks like it should be driven in against the inner surface while I left mine flush with the outer lip. Front axle-shafts... Take 2!

Is anyone interested in making this trip? Tell me you are not going to make me take the trip with 2 girls in a Wrangler by myself.

Serously, it is sounding like more of a day trip instead of camping. The Wrangler I mentioned is up for the day trip only and another FJr is doing a day trip only too.
