can anyone recommend a good place to order wiring kits for 1st gen?

I picked up an '88 4runner a few months ago with a couple of annoying but minor wiring problems. the previous owner did some rewiring with spare speaker wire. these minor electrical issues are starting to become a bit more serious, so I'm looking to rewire the vehicle properly (and get the rear window working).

can anyone recommend an online store/vendor that has wiring kits for a 1st gen at a reasonable price? thanks.

You might be able to get a generic wiring harness from Painless, but an exact replacement would likely be a dealer only item, if still available.

Otherwise you might luck out and find one in a salvage yard truck.
