Can anyone tell me the difference?

Hello,

Looking to replace my stock rear springs with MOOG coils, (on a budget), and I notice that there are two part numbers, (81041, 81043), for 1999; I'm thinking perhaps that means one of them is the ~1" taller highlander spring. Can anyone clear up for me which one is the highlander spring or what the difference is between the two PNs? I couldn't find the difference on MOOG or aftermarket parts websites specifically to size/rate, etc.

My guess is you want the 81041 as it says it's for trucks with 16" wheels. The 81043 says it for trucks with 15" wheels. Doesn't necessarily mean that it will be the Highlander spring though.

That was my thinking too but summit had them reversed...

Actually, it probably does. The 'tall '99 springs--they weren't just on Highlanders, I have them on my SR5--are listed for '99's with 16" wheels in the Toyota database. The shorter '99 springs are listed for 15" wheels. It would make sense that Moog would list them the same way.
