Can someone recommend me a recovery strap?

Can someone recommend me a good recovery strap to purchase?

Also, without any aftermarket bumpers or recovery points on a stock 3rd gen, where is the best places to hook it up to?

The brand doesn't matter, just don't use the type with a hook sewn in, use the type with a loop you can hook up to a shackle. This link shows a shackle for your receiver which will work in the rear, not much help on the front.

Is this a tow strap, or snatch strap?

I have read that I should invest into a snatch strap first as it can also be used for towing if needed?

I like Snatch straps because it doesn't jerk you or the vehicle you're pulling. It slowly stretches while pulling. Check on Amazon first, they have really good deals.

Well I don't know, it looks like a cheap one, I picked that picture to show you the shackle adapter. I'd try to get a better strap, 20% stretch is good, nothing more than that. But I don't know what you mean by used for towing, unless you mean off of a trail, I wouldn't tow a vehicle with ANY kind of strap.

**** the static straps ... snatch strap all the way! Flat towing with a static line is super uncomfortable at best.
