Can u fit 15" wheels w 16" calipers if you grind a little

i ran into that problem a couple years ago, i ended up putting wheel spacers on them and i could fit 12.50R15's without the spacers 15'' rims hit my brakes

Those 35s look huge with the 15" wheels. I would have loved to have run 15s, I'm nostalgic for the old 4Runner alloys that were also used on the early 90s LC.

definitely depends on the wheel... don't forget its illegal the grind the caliper down though. simple way around it is to paint the caliper. lol

how did you do this cordrayj1. i plane on going back to stock soon :toilet: because i want 15in tires. im willing to grind but i still dont think my rotor will even fit in the 15s

i do have wheel spacers. so that played a part in the grinding.... i used a paddlewheel on a grinder and slowly checked the clearance until they fit.
and mikebontoft, I live in South Carolina, we dont have inspections, and im pretty sure im not gonna get a ticket...hahaa
the tires are BFG AT 35x12.50x15
they are big 35's. they rub pretty good, gonna have to trim front of my sliders and the ARB at the wheelwell.
The Rear has no clearance issues.
FrankM, those are stock wheels from the 85 4runner. Sometimes thats just what us Toyota guys like, old and nostalgic. they are nice wheels.

How many boats do you have in that backyard there? The 4runner looks good.
You have to love the no state inspections in SC. IF they were mandated, 1/4 of the drivers in SC would not be driving. Unfortunately, cyber criminals, like tourists, are welcomed with open arms to the Palmetto state these days.

how are ur 12.5s on that stock wheel? and does your weel compleatly clear the rotor from the spacer?
im going to stock because the 15in wheels are cheaper and better . wish there was another way besides 16s
