Canvasback Cargo Liner

Here's mine, just installed. I have the OEM cargo tray so didn't need the full liner. I talked to the folks at Canvasback and they were happy to make a custom set for me, which covers the seat backs and the narrow strip behind them. They suggested making the strip a little longer than needed to allow the tray to overlap it, which worked out great. Went with Realtree to spice it up a bit.

How much did it cost you for just the back? Thanks for this I just sent them a note interested in ordering the back seat!

Just wanted to add another positive experience with customer service at Canvasback.

I ordered the cargo liner (floor and back of the 2nd row seat) for my T4R w/ 3rd Row + bumper cover. I already have a Husky cargo mat back there but I wanted the Canvasback below it to make dog hair cleanup easier.

Order shipped quickly but I dicovered that there were no holes cut out for the four floor cargo tie down points. Contacted Pete at Canvasback and he said it was in the fine print of the product description to specially request for them to get cut out (That was my fault for not reading the fine print - Doh!)

Anyways, he had me send the floor liner right back and they added the hole cut outs free of charge - Just had to pay for the shipping to get it back to them. Liner was back within a week.

I searched quite some time to find a suitable cargo liner that would prevent dog hair (I travel with 3 dogs) from getting imbedded in my 4Runner's impractical carpeting in the cargo area.

I finally ordered a custom fit Canvasback Cargo Liner:

I've just installed the liner and I must say I'm very impressed with both quality and fit .. all D-rings and storage compartments are still accessible and all carpeting is covered with the acrylic canvas waterproof material. Near as I can tell, the liner material is the same as what's being used for boat awnings and bimini tops, probably Sunbrella. The liner is available for 5th gen 4Runners both with and without the sliding cargo tray. Highly recommended!:thumb3:

I also found Kirkland brand quilted pet throws at the local Costco .. they're almost a perfect custom fit for the 4Runner (54" wide x 64" long) and a mere 20 bucks. I bought 2 .. now my pooches can ride in comfort.

Great tip on the Kirkland pet throws! They fit like a glove!

YES...and I didn't know when I ordered, but you can get sides that cover the wheel wells.

Canvasback is a great product and Pete offers great customer service. I sent CB an email asking if they were able to source a different fabric pattern than what their site offers from their fabric vendor... Pete looked into and said yes, but would cost some more. which i was totally fine with. took a little time going back and forth with nick but in the end i got what i wanted. Definitely a 5 star American company!

I really shouldnt even share this with ya'll!!! LOL just kidding, but this is 1 of 1 as it stands. Kryptek Typhon Canvasback Custom. I do know CB is able to get this pattern in Highlander and Typhon. I only paid a little bit more than what the CB site lists as i had to pay extra for the material and special order.

Only downside with CB is that its slippery when stuff is back there on the cargo floor. so i have to bungee strap my instacrates (costco purchase) down. i wanted to save the OEM carpet from crap being forever embedded.

Went ahead and ordered from Canvasback after researching on the forums and online...of course I had to go Realtree.

I am very pleased with the quality - it fits perfectly! The pups are getting used to it being a little slippery at first, but it definitely does a much better job than that old blanket.

Ordered CB in black earlier this year ... so far so good! Great company to boot. I usually hit the road with an cooler so it does slide around a bit. Easily fixed with some bungees!

Genius product. Going to have to look into one of these. It would take hours to properly clean up the hair after my brittany had been inside the vehicle for any substantial time.

Got it after my buddies ice axe scratched my rear window. It was sitting in a tub and got bounced around on Como Lake Rd. Colorado.

I just received mine. The material seems really durable and the velcro adheres to the floor very well.

I originally ordered black, but ended up contacting Canvasback and updating my order to grey (graphite) because I felt dirt/mud/dog hair would blend in a little bit better.

I also chose the option for red stitching to match the red stitching on the vehicle's interior. I didn't examine every inch of the stitching, but what I have glanced at looks very well done.

I also purchased the bumper flap so my pup wouldn't scratch up my bumper. I purchased the maximum length (24"). You can see from the attached photos what it looks like flapped over the bumper.

They also included 2 dog treats, which my pup immediately zero'd in on.

If I had to find a complaint it would be the cargo canvas. It's maybe a quarter of an inch too long and there's no velcro along the sides. The 2nd row canvas is sized perfect and has velcro around the entire edge. You can really stretch it and have it lay perfectly flat. It's worth mentioning, since I have no sliding tray, the cargo canvas has to angle up right before the 2nd row of seats. It may be worth adding a bit of velcro right on that edge to keep the canvas really smooth. Having said all that, I'm really searching for a complaint here since nothing is perfect. I'm pretty happy with the fit. They mostly nailed the dimensions, especially with regard to the cutouts. Maybe for $200 it could have been slightly better.

So is it all worth the $219 I paid? Time will tell. If it protects the interior of the vehicle from damage during all our adventures, it certainly will be. The company seems great, too.
