Hi Everyone,
I was planning on replacing the battery in my car 2008 4runner. I got to the point where I disconnected the negative terminal. Then when I tried to disconnect the positive, I couldn't loosed the screw on the clamp because it seems like it was eaten away by acid. And when I turn the screw using my wrench, the front part of the clamp where the screw is attached looked like it was going to peel and break off. So I left it alone and went inside the house and called Autozone. They said they can install the battery for me. So, I went back out and tried reconnecting the negative terminal. But everytime the clamp touches the terminal, the horn would sound. Did I mess up my system? How can I successfully reattach the negative terminal without creating a disturbance in the neighborhood?
