I am a beta tester for Carista. They offer the program free for a while if you agree to test for them. They are just about ready to release TPMS utilities for the 4runner. I do not know if its all generations and they tell me it will be like techstream.

they have the ability to back up your configuration and restore it if needed. All you need to do is to try the new settings and report if they work or not

They have just released a bunch of new stuff for the 4runner.

If you already have an OBD2 adapter, please drop us an email at [email protected] to be added to the beta-testing program and specify the following:
The exact brand, model and year of your vehicle
Your mobile platform: Android or iOS
(Android only:) the Google account you use in Google Play Store

Hmm, been there done that, I put in some hours already on their beta trying to get this to work a year or so ago and it went... well... no where. I really hope it works this time around. :)

not sure if these were just added or not, but I do remember testing them
windows up/down based on key in lock
tear wipe on rear wiper
there were more, but I cant recall them right now

however turning off the stupid eco bar, priceless

Yea, those were added as I have those features enabled.
 
[MENTION=160841]SlickTRD[/MENTION] not sure if you meant to quote me or not. They were working on Toyota TPMS ages ago, it never worked on my 2013 4runner. Maybe something changed and it works on newer models, dunno.

Just tried the ßeta version and still has no TPMS. Emailed support and was told that 4Runners may be using an older TPMS comunitation. They suggested I send a failure report from the app. Will do so and report later.

they were working on it and stopped, then they figured it out for the newer models. now they have the 5th gen figured out and are about to release it. they are looking for testers for when its ready

go to the first message in this thread, email them, give them the details they ask for and they should send you an invite. they are asking for people to help test once the tpms features are available, that should be soon, but you can sign up now

or you can go to their site, also listed in the first message and in the help under becoming a beta tester you can find the same info

if you have issues and have an iPhone, I can try to help. I am not affiliated with them in any way, they asked me to post here for beta testers when I asked if I could let everyone here know about the upcoming features
