Caution!!! Avoid energy suspension - terrible quality! :(

Plain and simple.....

As you can see.... I went forward with installing some new urethane on the truck, and got the kit with the zerk nippled straps.

What quality.... Way to go Energy Suspension.... not even 3 months old....

(and this isn't even result of over stress/flexing, just regular daily driving)

Yeah, well the first thing I've done is go right back to stock, no way those stock ones would pull this kinda trick on me. Goes to show.... theres a good reason stock OE parts are the price they are..... cause they WORK!

Wow, that sucks. I've used a lot of their bushings but never any that came with brackets of any form. The axle pivot bushings and radius arm bushings I put on my Bronco were fantastic.

... i have now, didn't when i got them because these were greaseable easily with the fittings

Normally, these bushing don't need grease. Maybe if you drove through a lot of water?

I've used Energy Suspension parts on my Hondas for years now, never had an issue with them. Maybe this is just a fluke?

Only use bushings. The brackets are cheap.

The subaru guys have broken a lot of these brackets as well.. but the last big report of them was years ago as I think they had a bad batch.

+1 for the bushings not needing grease. If you want some lube to put on them, try 3M silicone paste.

My 10 year old nephew could make a better bracket than that.

I'll +1 this. They shipped me an ultimate kit (a piece to replace every bushing on the car pretty much) that was missing some pieces once. Got on the phone with them, and they shipped me an entirely new kit, overnight, for free. That was a couple years back, but still, damn good customer service. Give them a chance.

I agree a part like that probably doesn't need grease like others do but any slight flex on polyurethane can sound like nails on a chalkboard lol. I can't blame the OP for wanting that option.

I actually had the same thing happen. Got a replacement and no issues since.
