Yep, It was definitely you. Its good to see other modded 4runners roaming around in Iowa. You're the first one i've seen that wasn't just stock, I rarely take mine to Des Moines. Its a long trip with gas being so high.

I agree, I rarely see modded 3rd or 4th gen 4Runners around here. Here is one that is close to where you live.(southern Iowa) :biggrin1:

yeah, I haven't been off-roading since I moved from colorado 3 years ago. I didn't know there was much more than mudding here in iowa until recently.

Here are a few pictures from the Toys 4 Tots event. The weather was great and the trails were in good shape, not wet and not too dry. I showed a few newbies around the place, since I have been there numerous times since 2005. My 4Runner performed very well on its maiden voyage. It was kinda fun wheeling an IFS rig again. I had not wheeled an IFS rig since 2005.

This is old?? There aren't any legal public places in Iowa to go offroading.

There is really only one spot that you can consider a place to go....

I am working on another trip/outing there in the next week or so. We had planned on this Saturday, but with all the rain have postponed it.

I am planning to go to the Make it or Break it event this weekend. Most likely going down on Saturday.(usually have a good barbeque Saturday night that is included with admission) Who else is interested?

FYI - There are trails for mildly built and stock rigs.
