It is my pleasure to introduce Central Overland Travels (CO) as an official T4R Forum sponsor. We have found the 4Runner to be well suited to the task of long distance unsupported vehicle based expeditioning, also know as Overlanding. It is our mission to introduce our style of travel and adventure to our clients.

A bit about Overland Travel:
So often today, travel has become a utilitarian task–often perceived as a necessary evil used only as a means to connect vacationers to our chosen destinations–complete with high cost, long lines, and countless complaints along the way. But, we can counter this reality; we can choose to make our travels less of an act and more of an art.
By choosing overland travel and making the journey itself a highlight of the trip, we make a choice to explore what lies between the beginning and the end. We make a choice to discover the nuances of our surroundings. We inspire our imaginations, build our confidence in blazing new paths, and immerse ourselves in the history, culture, wildlife, and beauty of areas which cannot be sampled from a tiny window at thirty-thousand feet.
The idea is to see and learn about our world from eye-level, and for Central Overland Travels it takes the form of Vehicle-Dependent Overland Travel. We believe that our vehicles hold the key to experiencing our region in ways seen by few. We believe in sharing this experience. We are Overlanders, its the journey, not then the destination.
What We Offer:
In addition to guide services, we share our detailed knowledge of regional history and attractions. Standard trips include trailside teaching sessions, where clients can learn everything from recovery techniques to repairs, communication, and tips and procedures for international Overland travel.
Our standard trips focus on the Central States region, but custom trips can be within or outside this region to tailor to the needs of the client. Our trips offer exciting adventures for the family SUV all the way up to wheeling clubs. Our Trail Rating Guide ensures that clients have a good idea of what to expect on the trips.
Specialized photography services can be provided through Ryan Bidinger Photography.
In addition to recreational trips, Central Overland Travels provides vehicle support and logistics functions to non-profit organizations and scientific expeditions. Please contact CO directly for more information.
