Ceramic coating maintenance and advice wanted

After getting some detailing work done yesterday I went ahead and applied a ceramic coating to my 4runner. there were scratches that I honestly never thought could come out/ be covered. As well as little pin divots from road debris. Along with this it added an amazing shine to pretty much every panel and even though the roof paint is not in the best shape, it still helped rejuvenate and protect it. I do have some questions though...

there is a lot of different info out there about how long it lasts, how to care for it, how well it prevents scratches but I want to know your opinions and advice for these topics as well as other info I might need to know.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

What coating did you use. Did it erase brush scratches? I've been considering it just don't know anything about them. I'll be paying attention to this for sure.

The coating I used was this one from amazon. This was enough for me to do the whole car along with headlights and tail lights.

And basically it covered almost any scratches I had that were not through the basecoat. A bear had gotten on my hood and scratched it to hell and after some paint correction I used this and it made them go away. Now I will say my roof is relatively dull but this was still able to bring a little shine back and at least its protected now.

Thanks! and it was cleaned pretty well. I had a guy polish out the hood and roof as they had the most issues of dulling and rough paint. He also clayed the whole car. The roof even though it wasn't rough was still pretty dull but this did bring back some shine. as for the hood I had a little overspray left that even with a clay bar wouldn't come off. I actually had to scrub it with acetone on this spots for it to come off. as you would expect underneath there was still spiderwebbing from time and this literally fixed all of that. It looks like a sheet of glass now

Looks awesome! I will be curious to see how this holds up long term. I recently buffed out my whole truck because the finish was pretty weathered and had a ton of overspray on it. I also applied a sealer, but not a ceramic called Klasse, which is made in Germany and had great reviews online. It’s supposed to last for a year. Maybe next time I’ll try this one.

Overall there were no issues whatsoever. I would say though that this stuff flashes almost immediately so you will want to wipe it off right after application otherwise it will look like the paint was acid etched

the clear coat was not peeling but it was extremely dull from lack of polishing and had some pretty deep scratches. here are some pics

Thanks! and similar. Basically the panel needs to for best results be polished first then gone over with rubbing alcohol or similar to take off any grease. Then you use the applicator and do small sections at a time and wipe off immediately
